OSM & DEM are systems dedicated to the demineralisation of the water which imply, through chemical physical process, the total or partial elimination of dissolved salts. The two systems which answer to this need are: OSM reverse osmosis that is inspired from physical process of osmosis and DEM resins cationic and anionic. Both are ideals for application on washing systems.

Zafferani Centrifugal Drum Systems

The Centrifugal sludge-water separator has been designed to physically removal the glass fines from process water waste, this in turn helping the environment costs to the company and helps improve the life of the machines.

Suitable for direct connection to Edger’s, Bevellers and CNC machines.

The Machine operation:
Processed water is pumped to the rotating drum inside the separator by a dedicated submersible pump included with the system, the glass fines suspended in the fluid are “pushed” against the aluminium drum walls by the effect of the centrifugal force, letting the purified water flow back out of the system and returning to the machines water tank.
After some time, depending on the volumes processed, the operator stops the separator to take out the glass sludge inside of the aluminium drum. Once opened the separator is protected by a sensor opening system that allows opening only after a few minutes so that the drum has ample time to stop.
