LandGlass are one of the Worlds leading manufacturer of glass bending and tempering furnaces for the architectural, furniture, household appliances, automotive etc. There are 10 product series and currently more than 1000 LandGlass tempering furnaces in operation in 50 countries from North and South America to Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. LandGlass technology has developed two ways to bend and toughen glass either by JetConvection Plus technology or by AirStream which is heated compressed air.

AirStreamTM is where radiation heating plays a supportive role during the process. Compressed air is injected into the furnace passing over the heating elements to aid the heating process of the glass, combining radiation heat and compressed air. This is suitable for non coated glass float glass. The heat is accurately controlled by numerous heating zones both length ways and cross ways above the glass surface. These zones are independently controlled by the operator. The bending system consists of many bending mechanisms, each of which can camber by itself and also can be slightly adjusted individually, therefore providing a higher accuracy curvature. The bending system is controlled by a German Servo Control System, which ensures good repeatability and consistency.

JetConvection PlusTM is where convection heating plays a main role during glass heating. Air is heated in the JetConvection chamber inside the heating furnace and is blown onto the glass surfaces. This hot air is then recirculated by the convection blowers into the JetConvection chamber. LandGlass JetConvection technology enhances the quality of the final product and increases productivity by ensuring an even heating, while minimizing production costs. The heat is accurately controlled by numerous heating zones both length ways and cross ways above the glass surface. These zones are independently controlled by the operator. Glass that can be tempered includes: on-line and off-line Low-E glass (E=0.02), extra ultra clear glass, screen printed glass, pattern glass, tinted glass, clear glass, etc.
