LandGlass Flat Glass Tempering Furnaces
LandGlass are one of the Worlds leading manufacturer of glass tempering furnaces for the architectural, furniture, household appliances, automotive and solar glass markets. There are 10 product series and currently more than 1000 LandGlass tempering furnaces in operation in 50 countries from North and South America to Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. With over 500 employees at the manufacturing facility in China, their goal is to provide world class glass tempering furnaces to customers to help improve products and make continuous progress in technological innovation. LandGlass technology has developed three ways to heat glass. With increased demand for toughened soft coat glass, the popular specification for a furnace combines JetConvection Plus on the top and SuperAir on the bottom.
AirStreamTM is where radiation heating plays a supportive role during the process. Compressed air is injected into the furnace passing over the heating elements to aid the heating process of the glass, combining radiation heat and compressed air. This is suitable for non coated glass float glass. The heat is accurately controlled by numerous heating zones both length ways and cross ways above the glass surface. These zones are independently controlled by the operator.
SuperAirTM is based on the above AirStream technology, but additional compressed air is blown into heating furnace by an intelligent pipe convection system to optimize the heating process of the top surface of glass. This system heats the top and bottom surfaces of glass by combining radiation heating and super compressed air.
JetConvection PlusTM is where convection heating plays a main role during glass heating. Air is heated in the JetConvection chamber inside the heating furnace and is blown onto the glass surfaces. This hot air is then recirculated by the convection blowers into the JetConvection chamber. LandGlass JetConvection technology enhances the quality of the final product and increases productivity by ensuring an even heating, while minimizing production costs. The heat is accurately controlled by numerous heating zones both length ways and cross ways above the glass surface. These zones are independently controlled by the operator. Glass that can be tempered includes: on-line and off-line Low-E glass (E=0.02), extra ultra clear glass, screen printed glass, pattern glass, tinted glass, clear glass, etc.
Productivity is calculated on 5mm clear glass and 5 mm Low-E glass (E=0.08) with 65% loadage.
Actual productivity is subject to glass types, sizes and loadage

As various coated glasses, especially the online and offline low-E glass, are being used more and more extensively in the building industry, JetConvectionTM series tempering furnaces introduced by LandGlass have been winning high reputation in the domestic and foreign markets and heralded as efficient equipment in tempering high end glass products by glass processing companies. In 2015, LandGlass introduced a brand new series of forced convection tempering furnace, i.e. CycloneTM series, which achieved significant improvement in terms of product quality, productivity, energy saving, intelligent control, and wireless connection.
